Square Root Productions was founded in Singapore with the focus on video-based creative work and commercial projects. Extending the vision of our collective into our video projects, Square Root Productions encourages room for creativity for our partners and collaborators to bring his/her/their unique experiences and history into a project. We respect differences. We trust that having diverse viewpoints is where growth happens and we appreciate a robust discussion. Filmmaking is a collaborative art. We believe every individual is an active contributor towards the conceptualization and realization of a good story and message.

Square Root Productions is built upon years of experience and deep appreciation for the filmmaking craft. Prior to starting Square Root Productions, co-founder Mirabelle Ang has worked in various capacities in documentary productions since 2006. She has lived and worked in the United States and Taiwan, and is effectively bilingual. Square Root Productions produces corporate and creative original content with an emphasis in storytelling. A good story provides perspectives and draws people closer; this is what we aim to do through our work.
